Hi all,

As the title suggests, the game is perpetually stuck on the loading screen for a very long time without result. Any ideas on what's causing it? Thanks!

I'm starting to get the same issue, game hanging up on the campaign continue/loading screen, and even the load game screen. Reinstalled it yesterday, and that cleared it a bit, but today it's taking for fucking ever once again.

UPDATE: So, recently found out how far behind my computer was on it's updates, both for graphics card, and for Windows. Presently, the game seems like it's fixed after having gotten both properly updated.
Nevermind, that victory was short lived -_-

Try uninstalling Battletech and deleting folders from gog and my documents (could be some old mod or a leftover).
Loading times are horrible, sometimes you can make a coffee in between. There was a mod called Turbine, which improved loading times, but I don't know if it was updated.
I have very old version of W10 and drivers over half year old and the game is working fine. I wouldn't look for cause in OS.
Also running memory diagnostics wouldn't hurt.

UPDATE: Was talking with Paradox earlier, and they examined btech's log file, and found out the problem is associated with gog galaxy and it's file sync. Paradox also lists that some antivirus software may also interfere with the game, so make sure it has permissions. Otherwise, the issue is completely software communication related between the game and Galaxy.

I'm playing Battletech on Galaxy since release and had two cds and no other problems since then (other than performance related issues due to laziness of developers, that were improved by mods).
Could be AV, but those file sync problems are propably some leftover from previous patches. Uninstalling and fresh install of Battletech should resolve the problem (as previously suggested).

I've reinstalled it twice, and as stated I already talked to someone from Paradox who had isolated where the files were having problems, and I don't have the CDs (digital download).

Did you deleted those folders after unstinstalling the game?
