Just want to get this out there if you aren't manually saving constantly.

I lost a 3/3 mech after a mission completed when I loaded a post mission autosave in which I selected the 3rd piece of a mech as salvage reward. After I tried to load the auto save the mech was entirely gone along with the 2/3 mech parts I had previously.

Pretty awful bug.

Agree, that's what i'm doing, using manual saves and backing up those saves. 0 problems until now with this method.

So, yes, use manual saving and ignore the auto saves.
