I tried ot save my game so I can go to sleep, but the game keeps saying that the cloud will only save upto 200 mb, and it is saying that mine is 202 for some reason... yet I deleted 95% of my saved games, and it still says that... wtf?

Try it again, while deleting Galaxy and Battletech have to be running. With Galaxy 1.x it worked like a charm for me, with 2.0 I need to run it a second time after cleaning and then exiting and it works.
It took about 3 tries for me. Meaning that 3 times after I played and quit, the synch up finally cleared out the stuff I deleted.
something else that is related to this is that after deleting, the cloud is restoring saved games that I have deleted, repeatedly... wish I know why this was happening...

Doesnt work for me ingame, too. But deleting the saves manually while BT and Galaxy are running works.
Even Galaxy 1 does dont obey, the saves we have erase ingame come back in the game.
They have even boosted the cloud limit to 500. And I still can't delete anything other than trying to do in manually on my end.
It's broken. Best thing I did was to turn it off. No problem now. All saved locally and no complaints that I can't save or whatever.
the order in whch you do things matters.

first the save game path can be different in your os but by default it should be;
C:\Users\[your_account_name]\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications\50593543263669699\Storage\Shared\Files\ C0\SGS1

if you look at the numbers 5059 will be the one with 3 folders inside it... most Galaxy games only have the two

my path is ussnorway because I have that set to go by doc folders on my machine but if you use any Windows system then the default path should work

ok the steps [with images] are;
1. open Galaxy> Battletech>more>settings and make sure you have the sync option ticked... before starting the game
2. from the starting UI [skip the movie or watch it] goto campaign > load ... this screen doesn't start the game {which would lock up your Windows system} but it does allow sync

3. press your [Windows] Key to get out of the ui and navigate your file browser to the store game folder ... sort by date and delete or move the saves you don't want to keep

4. now go back to the battletech {the saves will still look like they are there} and quit the game... once the Galaxy sync is done you can restart battletech and confirm the save games are gone

if you have Galaxy 2 then the ui looks a little different [see images] but the steps are the same

p.s, If [like me] you play the same campaign on more than one system i.e, a laptop and a desktop then you have to do these steps for each system because Paradox doesn't update their server in real time... the last game saved should always update during sync so its unlikly you will lose your spot but deletes are best done manual

yes Paradox games are buggy on Gog and yes that is because they are used to doing things with Steam but they are getting better... enjoy the game!

ok, this bs is happening again... and the cloud server seems to try to ignore what I have set yet again... guys, fix this already, it's been several months now that this has been happening... doesn't seem to matter how many times I delete older saves, and yes I have both the game and the launcher running when I do it... doesn't seem to matter no matter what I do... 200 mg limit, 500 mb limit... how do I force the cloud to respect my local settings permanently without having to delete and reinstall yet again?

From what I've read here, it seems to be a Paradox issue. If you expect them to hear your complaint then this is not the place to post it.
