my mini map and tool bar is missing from my screen i trying playing with the resolution in the game doesnt work ive tried playing with the AMD driver i have and nothing seems to work. ive loved this game when it was back in 2001 and no may, no tool bar...what am i suppose to do?

When I first played the game, I also noticed that my minimap was missing. However, I fixed it by doing the following:

1. Start the game - play a scenario or skirmish, etc.
2. Press the Windows key or whatever key that will take you back to the desktop screen.
3. Go back to the game.

You have to do this each time you play the game.
