Any way to get the beta build on GOG?

I want to play the new Colonial Charter mod, but don't want to mess up my savegame!

Edit: Nevermind. Just found it on the website for the dev: http://www.shiningrocksoftware.com/

FWIW, the GOG.com version is mod-ready.

There is a new beta available on the Shining Rock site, however. You'll need it if you want to try out the new 1.6 version of the Colonial Charter mod, which just came out.
