Hello!

When you report technical problems to Larian, you have the option of choosing a blocker. What is a blocker? Google wasn't much help. I got that it's a bug, but the Larian form lets you pick "bug" as an option already. How is it different?

Thanks in advance.

I guess it means it blocks your progress and you cannot venture forth.
actually a blocker is a wall you can't see. it is used in game design so you can show a wide open area without allowing the players to go there and you sometimes have a scenario were [for example] a loot gets stuck behind one i.e, you can see it there but the wall doesn't allow you to move to it so it can be picked up... small games are play tested so this type of bug is uncommon but 3A games rely on users to find them

a blocker bug in software development parlance is just that - a bug that blocks progress working on some feature (like a new major release) or fixing another bug

thats a game breaking bug

its clear we see it different but also only muliplayer bugs are seen as important at this stage so it doesn't really matter in the long run
