Hello everyone!
Ms. Nalia has a roach problem in her basement and I'm going to tell you the most profitable way to help her with that.
You'll need:
- dog stew
- improved invisibility
- cloudkill
- web
- haste or oil of speed
Cast improved invisibility on the person going in. Make sure your party members are away from the door so you don't start a fight with the umber hulks. A fight with umber hulks is a deadly tango. Cast haste or use oil of speed. Go into the umber hulk room and close the door behind you. It's important you do this because all of the umber hulks are going to try to cram into one door and there's a chance a few might make their way into your room. When you get into the umber hulk room there should be two doors. Go into the one that's already open and go into the end of the hallway. Cast web and then cloudkill, both targeted in the middle of the hall. Go into the back room. It should be the second door in the hall you entered. When you mouse over the back area, there should be a highlight that's similar to that of containers. Click on it to open it up and put in the stew from your inventory. Now you have to leave. You can't leave the way you came so go into the parallel hall (the one that has the closed door) and exit through there. Once you do that, close the open door just in case one of the umber hulks made both saving throws.
You can put in some traps if you want but that's unnecessary IMO. If you are going to do that, remember to trap the hall before you start casting.
The cloudkill should one shot any hulk that failed it's save and the ones that do will be kept in place long enough for the spell to do it's work the next round. Putting in the stew will get you 18k XP. Killing the umber hulks will get you 4k XP per hulk.
If I missed anything or made any mistakes, feel free to correct me. If you want to add to my post you are more than welcome to do so.
