It's a real bummer that the ToB OST is not included with BG2-Complete here on GOG.com.

Old threads seem to indicate that maybe it was once included (or not), but old threads definitely do indicate it will likely never be included here at Good Old Games.

Being a fan of all the Infinity Engine games (Baldur's Gate 1-2, Icewind Dale 1-2, Planescape Torment), I have all the original soundtracks, all in beautiful lossless flac and high-quality mp3 files, all ripped and created from the official soundtrack CDs, the physical disks that were included in the Collector's Edition big-boxes and other compilation box sets, back from the days when games were only sold in retail stores (remember those days?).

But alas, I'm missing the soundtrack for ToB.

Does anybody have the Throne of Bhaal Original Soundtrack files (if they even ever existed), to perhaps donate (or trade) to a friend in need?

As a side note, old threads also seem to indicate that GOG's files of the official BG2 soundtrack have some issues. Users reported stuttering issues in some of the mp3 files, and the first mp3 file truncates the opening second or two of the first track. Not to mention, a lossless flac version is not included as an extra goodie.

I own the BG2 Collector's Edition big box set (mint condition, I might add), which includes a Bonus Disc, which includes the official BG2 soundtrack... which I have ripped to lossless wav and flac files, and converted to high-quality mp3 files.

I'd be happy to upload my perfect rip of the BG2 Original Soundtrack to GOG for all to download, if GOG accepts this kind of stuff from their customers....

Contact support. If your versions are better than those they have, why would they not be interested?

I'm not sure if this helps since it's not something you can download (unless you have certain browser add-ons). But I found this link to the ToB OST: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QaKJF837G5U&list=PLtHuNRmYs3BWem1ZD6kYevwT0SDqijSHb

I usually head over to Youtube for game OSTs. Right now I'm into the Chrono Cross OST.

Heh, thanks man! I've been using this link instead. All tracks in one video for easy navigation:

Still, youtube videos are fleeting, my music file collection is forever. I'm still holding out that someone, some how, some way, has these files available in a lossless or high quality format.

Thanks though!

I have mp3s (44100 hz / 320 kb/s) ripped from the game, but I don't have them lossless.

Yeah, can't imagine why GOG wouldn't take it, unless there's some kind of worthless legality involved.

Support contacted. We'll see what happens...

Eff me, that's awesome! Way better than youtube! Any chance I can somehow get them from ya?

Many, many thanks, Hickory. Boo shall remember your deeds of goodness.

The files sound brilliant. PC games are incredible forms of escapism entertainment, and the music isn't given enough credit.

If GOG Support answers my offer for my better version of the main BG2 soundtrack, I'll give an update for those that are interested.

Thanks again man!

Hey! Would it be possible for me to get the songs as well? I've been looking for better version than that's available in Youtube.

Not related directly, but for audiophiles there's 1pp HQ music mod, which allows for 44Khz music to be played in-game (Classic, not sure about EE). The difference is very noticeable.

All that mod does is resample the .acm files. It's not true 44Khz.

The readme says it was ripped from CDs where possible. What do you mean by true 44Khz then?
