I just got BG 1 installed from GoG.com. When I start a new character or go to export a character and am prompted to type in a name it automatically spams 6s until the max character count is reached. I can't seem to erase these or anything, quite strange. I have no mods or anything, vanilla GoG.com install.

I'd prefer not to have to play the game known as 6666666666666666666666. So has anyone run into this problem and found a way to get past it?

Had a similar problem, but with spaces (like space bar key was stuck). It worked itself out, somehow. Did not do a re-install, or mess with game files/directories/settings.

Thanks a bunch, I managed to get the error fixed. Without getting a new USB keyboard!
