Hello mortals!

Does the GoG version of BG2 come with the special edition vendors? I thought they sold their games with everything. I'm at the Copper Coronet and I could've sworn there was a guy by the rotisserie grill who sold special items. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong?

Those special vendors were in the "COLLECTOR'S" edition of BG 2. Their files were extra from the rest files of normal game itself, on a separate CD, even... GOG's 2 original has ONE of those vendors though, the second one you have to manually sneak inside game yourself! Just google about "BG2 special vendors" and follow one of the many tutorials, as well as places to download their files from! Have fun.

All in all, you have to download and copy+paste two files, in game's directory. Child's play. Just don't overwrite the one GOG has already present (its file, i mean).

No, the bonus merchants were not part of the basic game. However, you can install them (there are two) with the BG2 Tweaks mod. Note that there are also some mods that actually *remove* them.

He doesn't have to download a mod... Those are only 2 small files.

Except that Joluv will not appear if you have already entered the Copper Coronet.
Either way, HERE, please!

Which won't work if the Copper Coronet has already been visited, as I already stated.

This is actually a ZIP FILE containing the two files. Taken from the collector's edition CD. Not a mod. Read description?? That fan-page's section is named mods and contains it, too.

It's a mod. It is actually two scripts that OVERRIDE the game's Copper Coronet and Adventurer's Mart area scripts.
