This might be the second-toughest fight in BG and TOSC, so I guess an analysis makes sense. The following are made by "CTRL-Q"ing the enemies and checking their statistics afterwards. I cannot gurantee that everything is included, but I do believe that only a small portion escapes my attention.
1. As soon as you enter the temple, Angelo casts Protection from Normal Missiles and Shield on himself and Semaj casts Protection from Normal Weapons on himself.
2. Semaj will cast Death Spell and Greater Malison immediately after the dialogue. This is a Conteingency and thus cannot be interrupted. He is also virtually immune to Fire and Magic Fire and protected by Mirror Image. Checking his spellbook tells me that he can cast powerful spells such as CloudKill, Confusion and Domination.
3.Sarevok is a mighty warrior with 285 (!) HP and -5 AC. He has some crazy resistances ( 90 to Fire/Magic Fire/Electricity/Acid/Cold/Magic Cold and 50 to Missiles). He is also hasted.
4.Tazok is a brute who is resistant to Fire and Magic Fire (70% to both), and he is also more resistant to slashing damage.
5. Angelo is a F/M who shoots Arrows of Detonation ( he has so far 8 of them ) but whose magic arsenal is limited.
6. There are also traps on the steps that trigger Web and Stinking Cloud. Very nasty I must say!
Since it's BG1, there are many cheesy ways:
1. Cast Cloudkill if you have a lvl 9 mage.
2. Summon as monsters as possible. Summoning spells are significantly stronger in BG1 than in BG2.
3. Tazok can be lured out. This will make Sarevok the only brute.
Now, some not-that-cheesy ways:
1. Disalbe as many traps as possible, especially those before the coffins.
2. Use summoned monsters to trigger Sarevok's talk as they will absord the first spells.
3. Angelo can cast Remove Magic. So unless you can finish him quickly, it's wise to save some protection spells/potions during the battle.
4. Take Semaj out first. Dispel Magic on him and nail him with Arrow of Biting. If your thief is good, backstab him with the short sword of backstab or the Venom dagger. It's also a good idea to kill Anglo early on, as his arrows of detonation are pain in the ass.
5. As soon as Sarevok moves, cast Dispel Magic on him to slow him down. And he is not resistant to Magic, so remember as many Magic Missiles as you can.
6. Tazok is just a brute, Confuse or Hold him.
