Helllllo I just bought baldur's gate and the screen is tiny and in the far left corner, I've looked all over google and I cant seem to find a fix that works. Helllp

Edit. I though it was a bug in the wide screen mod but even with a fresh install it still happens, I am running win 8.1.

In your graphics card control panel, set it to perform scaling on GPU, and override scaling mode set by games.
See Pic.

Thank you for the reply, but no dice. I actually had it overridden already from when I was looking around on google but changing it to GPU didn't change anything.
What hardware are you playing on?
Do you have an integrated graphics chip?

And your CPU doesn't have an integrated GPU?

If you click on Configure Surround, PhysX
Does it show the GTX970 is currently connected to your screen.

I found out for some reason on one of the exes that activate after the main exe (BGmain) had "disable scaling on high dpi" enabled. turning that off made the screen larger but it's still way smaller than it should be and remains in the left hand corner of my screen surrounded by a black box.

Your pic shows you are using a HDMI cable, have you got a DVI cable you could try.

I don't use a TV, but the scaling options will be different for each model.
you should look for just scan, or 1:1 pixels.

On my Samsung TV, you have to use the HDMI port labelled DVI, and then go to source>tools & edit the name to PC/DVI.

You will need to search for scaling options or overscan options for your make & model of TV.

Edit: I had a look at your Insignia TV, It seems to only have Overscan on/off (try toggling that)
Menu>Advanced Video>Overscan

Thank you very much for your help, but I just caved in and installed baldur's gate trilogy, which after an hour of tinkering has fixed all my problems. Not really a fix as much as a work around but I'm already five hours in at this point.
...Sorry for wasting your time.
