Maybe silly but i think its fun and im curious sometimes when Im in a battle i hear what sounds like reaaaallyyyy medic or something I was curious whos saying that since no potrait is glowing.

Its probably one of your chars when they are at low hp , not sure wich one can be since there are a few chars that can join your party but its basically that , hes telling you to heal him/her quick :)

try turning up the feedback to the max, in options, the circle under the person speaking should blink. maybe
