I have been trying to get 1024x768 resolution to work with the new crimson drivers i got for my gpu. But even when i set my display, or the game to that resolution. It just scales it to a small part of the screen in the middle. I dont know what i can do here. But the crimson drivers seem to not be able to play older games well. Anyone else have these drivers? Know a fix?

You need to find where your Catalyst control panel manages desktop size and position. You have to tell it to scale on GPU, use aspect ratio, and override games.

I had it working on my previous AMD drivers. But the crimson drivers for my hd 6950 are wonky and dont like the older games resolutions. So went ahead and removed them. The gpu scaling when turned on would turn right back off. The resolution 1024x768 no matter what would just be a small window in the middle of the screen. They are terrible drivers for people who like to play older games. Im back on my old drivers and am going to see how it works.

Still having issues. Im going to remove all my amd drivers and install them fresh, just in case something is leftover that is causing my issue.
