dtgreene: Except that (aside from the spell's non-existence in the Baldur's Gate series), there are two issues with that:
1. Permanency is, again, not a priest spell.
2. Alter Self isn't on the list of spells that can be made permanent.
So, unfortunately, this won't work.
Anyway, in the P&P game, if the PC has access to Permanency, she likely has access to Limited Wish, which might be able to accomplish that change.
