I have EasyTutu working fine, I was just wondering if there was any way to use BG1's original parchment-style world map instead of the color one EasyTutu comes with. And has anyone gotten the Chatty Imoen mod to work with EasyTutu? It keeps stopping with error messages when I try to install it even though the readme says it's compatible with Tutu.

I can't help with the map, but I know how to fix Chatty Imoen for Tutu. Try this:

open the file "chattyimoen\lib\g3_tutu_cpmvars.tpa" with a plain text editor (e.g. Notepad++ or similar) and replace the line

ACTION_IF GAME_IS ~tutu~ THEN BEGIN

with

ACTION_IF GAME_IS ~tutu tutu_totsc~ THEN BEGIN

then save the file and try (re)installing the mod.

It didn't work. Weidu said it installed successfully, but in-game she's the same as before. I tried starting a new game but nothing was different.
Starting a new game is indeed required, but, even if you do, the changes introduced by the mod are quite subtle, so maybe it's working as intended. You can check the author reply to a similar comment here:

Thanks, I've used it in the EE without any problems so I know what to look for, she says different things when you click on her when it's working than when it's not, that's how I can tell.

EDIT: I still get the error message when I try to install to a fresh Tutu with no mods except the Degreenifer. This is what my debug file says:

Really? "E:\Games\Windows\.."? Is that a valid path, and if so, why?

Yes it is, I have all my games installed to an external hard drive.

I get that, but why the "Windows" folder for games?

Oh that's just descriptive of the system it's on, I have games for lots of different systems on there via emulators and I have them organized in folders named by system. No connection to the actual Windows folder that runs the OS.

You're welcome. So any idea what the error message means?

I've never been into TuTu, so no. I was just trying to ascertain if the path was relevant to the error.

Oh ok np

EDIT: For the Chatty Imoen issue, Ergos' solution does work, I had just edited the wrong file before. It's working now, though. And the color map is fine, I tried building Tutu the long way and while the map in there uses the original parchment graphic, the location graphics are still white and don't color when you visit them, so it doesn't look as good. So I'll stick with the color map in EasyTutu. So a mod can mark this one solved anytime. :)
