How often do you play humans? When you do, do you usually dual-class? If so, what level?

I once started Baldur's Gate 2 with a Human Ranger who I dual classed into Cleric immediately. I believe this gave her level 7 ranger abilities (enough to get an extra half attack) while being able to advance fully as a cleric (learning Heal much sooner than multiclass Clerics, but not before Jaheira (gotta love the Druid XP table--or hate it once you reach level 14)) and learning all druid spells (except HLAs, but I didn't play that far).

I hear Kensai/Mage is another popular choice.

Also, out of curiosity, did anyone make a mod that implements AD&D second edition racial level limits into the game? (I suspect the answer is no, and that such a mod probably would not be popular if it existed.)
If I'm honest, I would say more often than not (but not dual classing). I don't have a specific reason for doing so, other than it makes more sense to me, seeing as virtually all of the inhabitants of Candlekeep are human, apart from the dwarves Reevor and Arkanis... oh, and the very brief appearance of the half-elf Osprey in Obe's training session.
About half the time, I guess - and mostly because it's the only way to dual-class. Fighter->Thief gets enough thac0 for the backstabs to reliably connect). Also for the Paladin because only humans can be them (Mazzie's pseudo paladin notwithstanding).
I also like playing half-elves when I solo or multi-class. Played a full-elf once.
Haven't played a dwarf/halfling/half-orc yet (in BG - played them in other games like NWN1/2)
About half if the images I want to use is human... I dual (main character) maybe 1 in 10 but I'm always mucking about with the race/ class tables for a half-ork fighter-avenger or a dwarf Avenger. the back story is what makes the game for me and if that makes my main character powerful, weak or some strange combo of classes then so be it.

Dual-classing is more (relatively) powerful in the original Baldur's Gate, see the first section of this post (and footnotes):

In the sequel, Berserker/Mage dual-classes are superior to Kensai/Mages for several reasons, but Fighter/Mage multi-classes are superior to both, all things considered.

Assassin (21)/Fighter(30) dual-classes are interesting, though (septuple Critical Strike backstab and Greater Whirlwind poison).

(I love dual-classing, especially in the original where you can dual from and to Specialists)

Even if you want to dual to a priest, start with a berserker is a better idea. Because berserker can grand master in a weapon.
