I'm not familiar with the mod in question but are you running the installer in the games root directory?

You have not extracted the archive to to correct location, or your software has extracted it incorrectly. It MUST be extracted to the main BG2 folder. Be certain that your installation of BG2 does not reside inside 'Program Files', else Windows will place the mod elsewhere (a virtual cache).

BG2 folder is located in c:/games. If the files weren't extracted properly can I just delete the folder and try again?

I would try to re-download the Weidu and then re-extract them. This had happened to me, but it was because I forgot to install outside of Program Files. Also, make sure that you are installing all mods in order. Sometimes one overwrites another and then it messes things up.

This link here: http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?showtopic=8122 was really helpful to me. It lists all sorts of different mods, which are conflicting, and what order to install them.

Hope that helps.

It sounds to me like you extracted the mod into it's own folder. If so, then yes you can just delete that folder. The mod must be extracted to your main BG2 installation, and you must have a completely clean (no mods, no fix packs) BG1 installation before you start to install BGT. The downloaded archive must be extracted so it looks like so:

<BG2 install path>\BGT\ <------[*** Folder ***]
<BG2 install path>\BGT\setup-bgt.tp2 <------[*** File ***]
<BG2 install path>\BGT\setup-bgt.exe <------[*** File ***]

Worked like a charm! Thanks a lot!
