Does that mean I have to reinstall it to make it work properly? Haven't played it yet..

In my library, this game is the only one with the update-mark.

Assuming you are referring to the classic version (not the Enhanced Edition), check the changelog; it is most likely a fix for a Mac specific issue. If you are not using a Macintosh, or if it isn't running the newest version of Mac OS, you likely do not need to reinstall.

It's just funny that I tested BG1 for the first time, and when I exited after 2 minutes, the PC crashed because of some video error :S

Btw, where is the changelog? Im from Denmark, my English is not perfect.

On your game shelf, click 'More >> Changelog'. It is also reproduced at the top of this forum, as a sticky.
