So. Firebead Elvenhair works NOT. You cannot abuse XP gain now, correct? Wrong! You still can, with multiplayer game, and export import mechanism. And a save at the level of Durlag's Tower with the 4 spirits and their riddles. Get thee to that level of Durlag's Tower. Solve the riddles, do NOT talk to spirits, drop the two items (glittering beljuril gem and bottle of wine) on the floor. Save game in multiplayer. Import the character you want to level up, only one at a time. Pick items up, talk to spirits, pause before combat, this gives you a total of 10.000 xp. Export, rinse and repeat, until you are satisfied (or maxed).
You can actually import a black pits character to the main, real game. Without loosing items/spells, even the Black Pits exclusive ones. Export your Black pits or tutorial character loaded with gear, start a new game with a random main you are going to get rid of in multiplayer. After the autosave, load game, import character, nothing is lost.
Import a stash character in multiplayer (a character you loaded with good magic, and/or expensive items, like Nymph's Cloak and Algernon's Cloak, Full Plate Mail +1, etc, and exported it), sell everything, buy whatever item you want on your main (especially in Black Pits, export it) and you are ready to rock.
Or, alternatively, import your endgame ToB character in 1EE. Some items won't be read/recognized properly, some skills might not work as intended (wish), but there you have it.
Will be updated on the go.
