The original Bioware forums was a dumpster fire of idiots shrieking at each other.
Between the perverts, the angry people, witcher fans who think they are on a holy crusade and people who think they were somehow "robbed' because ME3 didn't even with Shepard baking a cake, it was absurd.

You could replace them with a monkey screaming in phone booth and get better gaming related discussion.

The devs told the fans ME3 would have over 20 different endings, and that your choices in ME1 and 2 would greatly affect the endings.

What really happened was that the player just got to pick between 3 colours at the end - followed by a cutscene that made no sense.

Things like that tend to upset gamers.

"Thankfully" ME2 sucked so viciously hard that I never considered getting ME3. It was a wise move.

You could comfortably fly Sovereign through some of those plotholes.

Played most of their early computer games (except that strange Mech game!) when Bioware was in their prime. Once, I believed that Interplay taking a fall was disappointing because how it would effect Bioware but when the company maintained its independence, the circumstances were not so bad.

Every year in the Fall/Winter seasons, I'll develop a strong urge to play Balder Gate II: Shadows of Amn or any of their other cRPGs but this time it will feel different knowing that Bioware has disbanded its official online BBS forum.

If you're upset over that for a weekend, fine, but when its dragging on for months and years as it has, it's time to grow up and be glad you have nothing to actually worry about in life.

The only thing that matter is what is on the disk or download you get, not what some twat on the internet said the game might maybe possibly be like if we do all the things.

I see all the time people moaning and crying because they listened to some nonsense on the internet about what a game was going to be like, and they're miserable all the time because they believed what they were told, then they get mad when the game isn't like that, even if the game is otherwise fine.

Aye. I picked up the trilogy for Xbox not long ago. I thought ME1 was pretty nice, but I had to force myself through ME2, until I finally stopped, thinking enough was enough. I was missing two team-members, so I'm probably not too far from finishing it. Every mission is the same, just getting through a bunch of corridors filled with enemies. The gameplay isn't that good either. At least I lasted longer than I did in DA2 before quitting.. :P

Luckily I only paid 50 kr for it..
