Hello everyone!

Which D&D campaign setting would you like to see make use of the infinity engine? I'd love to see a Darksun game. I think it's survival of the fittest theme and unique style and story would really shine!
I'd rather see something else than D&D; I'd find an isometric World of Darkness campaing (I am mostly thinking of Vampire: the Masquerade and Mage: the Ascension) really appealing. I guess the closest to that in D&D terms would be Ravenloft, but I am really not that familiar with this setting, as it never really piqued my interest, therefore I can't really judge how well would that go with the IE.
Never really thought about it, but I'm going to go the whole nine yards and say all of the Gold Box games. Hell, yeah!
How about a "reverse scenario", something like Wizardry 4? Basically, you control an evil wizard (or perhaps cleric would work?) who summons a bunch of monsters and battles do-gooders.

(Of course, the game would need to be easier than Wizardry 4, or else it would be considered "too difficult" and not sell well. Fortunately, it is not hard to make a game that is easier than Wizardry 4 (unless you accidentally make it unwinnable).)
Dark Sun would be my choice as well, though the modular armor thing might cause difficulties, and the pervasive psionic talent might be tricky to implement. It'd be nice to see Templar tyranny and thri-keen weirdness in a video game, though. Plus there's the whole Fallout-esque post-apocalyptic wasteland thing, and secrets buried in the sands.

Speaking of Templars...

Do you think Templars and Defilers should be playable if such a game is made?

Defilers, absolutely. There'd need to be some sort of consequences for it, of course, but I can't think of any particularly compelling reason not to include them.

Templars, probably not. Templars are too entrenched in the bureaucracy to really be adventurer-types, so if you were going to include them then it'd need to be a Templar-centric game, along the lines of Inquisitor or somesuch. Since Templars have every incentive to never leave their city of origin, they'd need an entire storyline full of intrigue just for them. Such a game would likely be lacking many of the elements that most people are looking for in a Dark Sun game, though. Templars also make such wonderful antagonists that it would be strange to include them as playable classes, also, since simply having one in your party would close off any number of good plot hooks available to the designers.

This, but I'd also love to see a Buck Rogers scenario. Maybe merge Countdown and Matrix into a single campaign? I think a science fiction scenario could be done quite well in the IE.

Or, let's branch out a little. What about Gamma World? Nothing's been done with that in ages. And it's never been translated to the computer before. =)

These are some seriously mind blowing suggestions. I honestly wish I thought of them!
