So I didn't have any problems with bounty hunters until I entered Nashkel, and now there are bounty hunters coming at me from all over the place. Apparently, I'm evil now because I somehow got caught stealing from an empty shop, and killed two guards in Beregost. I remained in Beregost for a while, and nobody cared after that happened so I figured it wasn't a big deal.

But now a couple of my companions continuously harass me about being evil, and it kind of gets on my nerves, and the endless bounty hunters are Nashkel are pretty annoying too. 3 or 4 of them at a time will walk up to me, and each initiates dialog and then they attack me.

Because of these dumb bounty hunters, the mayor of Nashkel got ticked off and attacked me, so I had to kill him too. Is this normal or is my game now broken?

I'm going to have "Draw yer daggers n spells, and lets have at 'er" in their lame Scottish accents scarred into my brain.

If your reputation is too low, guards have a chance to spawn whenever you enter a new area. Make sure to rest before entering new areas so you can handle them!
