I am running the game in windowed mode, as admin with most of the compatibility options chose.

I am really only finding this error in the Playhouse under the 5 Flagons inn in the Bridge District. I have no clue what could be causing it, but when it happens, my entire computer stops responding, even blue screened once.

suggestions?

My BG2 only crashed when my antivirus program runs and scans the files.

What kind of error message do you get?


Try not running in compatible and window mode in windows 7 (I presume you got 7 since you never said anything.)

Do you have any mods installed?

I have no mod's installed, and the problem seemed to work itself out.

I believe it was my Antivirus doing its thing in the BG
