I created a new folder and downloaded them in that folder and tried to install and the window says it cannot find the second file even though all three files are in there. Makes no sense.

Yes, but my question was 'where' did you put them. Did you make the folder inside of 'Documents', for example, or was it on C:\ drive? I am trying to determine if you placed them in a protected location. Can you also give the exact names of the files you downloaded?

I just created a new folder on the desktop and put all three files in there. Nothing out of the ordinary. The first post in this topic which has a pic is the exact thing showing up despite all three files being in the same folder.

No worries.

Looking at your screenshot it appears that one of the files is incorrectly named. The multi-part installers should all have the same name followed by -1.bin, -2.bin, etc instead of .exe. So for Baldur's Gate 2 they should appear as follows:
setup_baldurs_gate2_2.0.0.12.exe
setup_baldurs_gate2_2.0.0.12-1.bin
setup_baldurs_gate2_2.0.0.12-2.bin
You have one named setup_baldurs_gate_2-2.bin however.
EDIT: Just realised this is an older post and the screenshot isn't yours. Check the filenames though as it could be the root of this problem. If it is, then GOG support need to know about the filename error. I don't have BG2 from GOG, though, so can't confirm the filenames they are using.

Trouble is, the original post (and screenshot) was made by cbarrett24 in 2012, not Sestrenator. The multi-part installers should all have the same name followed by -1.bin, -2.bin, etc instead of .exe. So for Baldur's Gate 2 they should appear as follows:

Sestrenator: So then, do I just rename it? If that don't work, then GOG needs to fix it.
Just renamed them and still jack crap.
GOG doesn't need to change anything. I downloaded them, and they are correctly named. Just renamed them and still jack crap.
Would you do what I originally asked you to do, please. Post here YOUR file names -- people are guessing, and you are getting nowhere!

The two bin files are incorrectly named. They are missing the 2.0.0.12 version number. http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g435/Psychosaturn/20130420_180330.jpg?t=1366564745
The filesizes look okay though.

They are named wrong. They need to be renamed exactly like this.http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g435/Psychosaturn/20130420_180330.jpg?t=1366564745
