I have bg1 installed, but i start it and it gives me a notification that windows cannot find a file? i have installed it 3 times
and i have gotten as far as the launcher menu but if i press play it says somehing is wrong with bgmain2.exe . i ahve messed with the file as run as administrator. what should i do

Your game is not installed correctly. Most importantly, do NOT install it to 'Program Files' or 'Program Files (x86). Use the control panel and uninstall the game, then reinstall and choose a custom installation. Point the installer to install the game to somewhere like:

C:\Games\
