yihaaa.... it looks nice but, does one of you know if this is 3d? you know turning around the city tilting zooming in buildings ...
and that when attacked in the back you can rotate the screen 3d so you can see whats coming up from the other part of the map.

The originals didnt have that. If the EE doesnt do 3d stuff, then i buy it.

But the sys.recs. look very high

these are the minimum

Minimum system requirements - Windows: Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 Processor:1 GHZ Memory:512 MB RAM Graphics:OpenGL 2.0 compatible Hard Drive:2.17 GB HD space Sound:Windows Compatible

No screen turning, it is fully 2d, just like the original (it is basically the original + some mods + some new content).
It does have zoom though.

Well. I made the mistake to buy from Beamdog the Baldur's 1 enhanced, some time ago. I did not like it. I prefer the originals. I even abandoned my account and even forgot the login details. I hate 3d party programs and clients THAT much, after all. I wasn't planning on getting 2 enhanced, ever.

Yet, accidentally, right now, i saw both editions on GoG. And on a 50% discount. Couldn't resist buying them both at one go! For GoG! I might never play through them (at least completely), i might hate what they 've done with those games (there is nothing i hate more than nerfing and balancing a game, or undoing its exploits, glitches and loopholes), but when i saw my favorite distributor reel them in, i simply grabbed them, no questions asked.

GoG, shut up, take my money, sell well those games, and prove to EVERY steam faqer or beamdog mutt, that THIS version, the CLIENTLESS, DRM-FREE, is the best there could ever be!

Well, i might just consider playing them a little. I will import my final character from ToB original to 1 enhanced, and right after to 2 enhanced. At beamdog version, you could do that. Start in Candlekeep at 13/28 berserker mage with all spells (minus HLAs) learnt.

But what is trully best? Now that those 2 games are here, we can discuss about them here, and not on the gay ridden, offensive/abusive Baldur's Gate Forums! Yay!!!

You can always buy them as a gift to yourself! This way, in the future, you might just trade their code for another game in exchange!

And what makes you think that there aren't plenty of LGBT people on the GOG forums? Also have to love how a forum having gay users ranks up there with alleged offensiveness and abusiveness on the part of the users with you.

Blame Social Junta for that.

I'd call them cause-killers, but that would imply they care about their supposed cause or represented people.

Apparently this is a "" with the poster. Apparently one gay person on a forum being a dick means that the gay community as a whole is out to get you to the point that we should apparently "[url=http://www.gog.com/forum/baldurs_gate_series/baldurs_gate_original_vs_enhanced_edition/post18][c]over your asses, hug the walls, and get out of there, fast!"

Yes. Using 'gay' as a pejorative is not cool. At all.

edit: Oh, he may actually mean that in a literal sense. In which case, I'll simply back away slowly and not make any sudden moves.

He is using it literally, as the comments I linked to demonstrate. However, given his sentence structure, he lists the fact that the BG forums had gay users alongside some far shittier characteristics of the forum, as if the fact that a forums has gay users is somehow a problem.
As i have said before many times, i have no problem at all with anyone here (at least from my part). I apologize if i offended you, but concerning this matter, which i promise to never again mention, i was offended myself there, and it was gross. As per my previous post linked above by Jonesy, "No one has a problem with decent people who keep their "different" tastes and adventures private and confidential". I never complained about anyone here. Here, if there are gays, they are decent. And i respect both this, and their thing; as long as it doesn't sprout right in my face out of nowhere. Which thankfully didn't. We are all cool. (at least from my part).

But enough with the offtopic. Has anyone bought them already elsewhere? Anyone of them also buying those here too?
