Sprinkles29: My monitor is an Acer x223w and it has always worked 100% fine and with no problems at all. However, a couple days ago, I was playing Baldur's Gate 2 which I just recently purchased. The monitor was working perfectly. Then when I quit the game, my monitor went blank and its power light began flashing off and on at that very instant that I quit. I was forced to reboot my PC. I had no idea what had happened because when I reboot, everything went back to normal. So the next day I played Baldur's Gate 2 again, and once again as SOON as I exit the game, my monitor went blank AGAIN. This time, even after rebooting it didn't work.

So right now, my once perfectly working monitor has a blinking power light and it refuses to even say "No Input". It's just completely blank. I think Baldur's Gate 2 did something weird with the refresh rates or something and screwed up my monitor. Now I'm using a secondary monitor ( a crappy one) just so I can say this here.

I won't ever be able to trust a GOG game again. You can argue this is a 1 in a million coincidence that my monitor would break 2x PRECISELY at the moment that I exit Baldur's Gate 2 after having working PERFECTLY for every single moment before that.

But I don't think that's the case.

So now I have to buy another monitor because of this crappy $10 game. I knew I was unlucky but hot holy damn batman this fucking sucks.
