Totally agreed, though maybe im a bit biased as i bought it for PS2 a few years ago totally new and whitow openning for like 4 dollars. At least half the price, cause $30 for a PS2 era game that its actually the weakest game of its engine is a scam at best.

You kids are spoiled as can be. I'm happy to get a chance to relive this classic on PC.

esta mas barato en steam considerando que estas en Mexico. pero lo se... yo tambien lo prefiero sin DRM
Interplay cash grab. Is it even remastered? Today's Interplay (Black Isle) isn't the same as the one who used to make games. I'm not sure they've done anything in 20 years. I remember they threatened to make a Fallout online but I think that was more of an attempted shakedown of Bethesda. If you enjoy this game, good for you, but I won't support Interplay.

30 bucks for a console game from 2 decades ago?

I remember not understanding why this wasn't on PC, even with a spin-off name. Then I've played on a friend's console, boy... was at an incomprehensible level of simplicity, a Diablo-like but without itemization! It is like all console games: a corridor adventure, with no inventory system, and poor customization (not mention zero mods).

Unless you were playing on console and have a nostalgia bait, better go for Grim Dawn, a game with much more love in each pixel, or Last Epoch, Wolcen, or if we go back in time, Diablo 2, Dungeon Siege 1,2, Sacred 1,2, Titan Quest...

Too late on PC, and at console price.

$30 definitely seems a bit much for a (as far as I can tell) fairly bare bones port of a game that I have fond memories of playing with friends. But calling this the weakest game on the engine though? Are you blissfully unaware of Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, or did you just (rightfully so) purge its existence from your mind?

I actually liked it. It's not canon, sure, but I had a blast neverthelless. I never felt empty, unlike Fallout 3 after around the 40th hour. And starting a fresh character you needed to manage your ressources for quite some time.

It's kind of a metal wreckfest with Raiders, Supermutants and bad toilet jokes.
This is indeed overpriced.

Even for an updated version of an old game this is too much.
Ten or fifteen makes much more sense.
The publisher got greedy.

A shame as sales of this game may determine if we get a remaster of the sequel which I really would have liked to have seen.

Heh, perhaps how unlikely it may sound we might have even gotten Fallout Brotherhood of Steel on the PC (the PS2/Xbox game, not Fallout Tactics) if the publisher might have been able to resolve the license issues with Bethesda.

Its a crap game but I still would have liked to have had it.

Even its unfinished sequel, perhaps that could have also been finished.
We have seen stranger developments these last ten years.

Edit: I always felt Fallout 3 was more of a sequel to FOBOS than Fallout 1 and 2.
At least FOBOS had a more original storyline than the Fallout 3's which was a mishmash of Fallout 1 and 2's.

wait for a discount ... in 6 to 7 months...
But yes, it's expensive for what it is..... an old Action RPG, made for consoles ....
