When can we expect a Mac version?

Apparently you can buy it on Stram?

gonna call bullshit to that but you can play EA on mac with Gog or Steam and there isn't any word yet when its due

Yesterday, Larian announced they're shooting for Sept 6th:
Baldur’s Gate 3 will release on September 6th on PS5 (September 3rd for owners of the Digital Deluxe Edition). We’re also targeting September 6 for Mac (via Steam, GOG, GeForce NOW) — to be confirmed. Additional platforms TBD.

I see a couple of references to this now, but when was this announced? As recently as a few days ago, I thought the Mac was on the list of platforms for August 3rd. (I even deleted my saved games to install and was quite disappointed to have done that for nothing.)

I was under the impression the Mac version was being released on August 3rd as well. It was mentioned in yesterday's Larian Gazette posting.
