Yes, I think it's because the Server may be full for the preload of Cyberpunk
83 MB update writes a ton of data frozen at 92% here but still writing to disk!
Frozen at 92% for a long time.

LOL!! I though I was the only one and I downloaded a corrupted update.

This is very likely it; a game anticipated for almost a decade, finally nearing it's launch ...?

LOTS of people have been preloading Cyberpunk2077.

...

I'm one of them. :)
Also stuck at 92%, but it says "Applying Patch" and doesn't seem to be downloading anymore data.

EDIT: I just checked again, it still says 92%. But the game still opens the launcher.

I just left my PC on overnight and it finished by itself.

So that is one "no". The reason I asked is that in the past, interminable Galaxy updates have been solved in minutes by verifying the files.

-edit- I can't see for myself for two reasons: 1) I do not have bg3 ea, and 2) I am an offline file user anyway and I never use Galaxy.

Preloading cyberpunk went really quickly but bg3 is still stuck.
I turned auto update off for that game so it won't interfere with the cyberpunk patch while I am at work.
Possible work round

I just left my PC on unattended for ages and when I came back it seemed to have finished by itself but when I checked on updates it was not there.

I then went Manage Installation from the symbol at top and then > verify/repair after checking it downloaded 205Mb and then I was all up to date.

Hope this it helps someone.
the 62G patch 3 added 5 new bugs to the game and this 80mb hotfix repairs 3 of them

if your \ gog network drops out the update will fail and it gets the 'failed' tag... at this point yes pressing verify will tell Galaxy to have another try at download but in general, Windows users are better off to restart the computer in case the network was disabled by some issue at their end like another update for example

assuming you don't have 3rd party software that wipes temp files on restart then Galaxy will auto-retry the update after the reboot and any data you already had before the fail should still be there

note; if your update does not actually say 'failed' then just leave it... sooner or later [lets be honest, its going to be later] the update will finish on its own

note; Gog does NOT post patch notes at the time they push them out so you will get a hotfix but the patch notes will not be added into Galaxy for a few days afterwards... sometimes a week
My plans of getting drunk in Night City tonight are ruined... damn!
