So after once of the recent patches, the option to enable cross platform saves in the game menu simply disappeared. The box isn't there to check anymore. The picture of my avatar in the in-game menu is now a generic silhouette too instead of showing my pic.

I've tried signing out & back in to my Larian account in the launcher and confirmed my Larian & GOG accounts are still linked. Anybody else experienced this and/or have any idea how to fix it? I'm nervous about not having my Larian cloud saves since the GOG cloud saves are disabled for this game for whatever reason.

yes the cross save option is not working since patch 2 came out... both Larian & Gog are well aware of this and the actual cause is at their servers

as a work around it is possible to swap saves between pc or [with some skill] PS but not Xbox

you don't with Gog but you can with Steam

I've got the same issue. This is frustrating, to say the least.

So I got it working. I plugged my xbox controller and there was an ingame option to login by pressing X on my controller. After loggin in from there the cross save option appeared on game settings.

I'm in the same situation. Cross save is not working on my pc, however its working on my steamdeck.

Yep, that also worked for me.

However, it's only available when the controller is connected. If you relaunch without the controller after logging in, the cross-save option is no longer available in the settings.

I assume that also means it won't sync (but I've not got the time to test it out properly at the moment.

Thank you very much, it actually works, would've never figured this out...

So I just installed the latest hotfix, and the cross-save option appears to be visible now even without the controller connected.

And then went away again after Hotfix# 14

Just installed HotFix 15 and Cross Save is back.
