Same problem here, stuck at 92% with an E3 error. Not the message I wanted to get after a 12 hours long download. Thinking of getting a refund if they don't fix it quickly, since I could have been playing it already if I was on Steam.
I managed to get the game running yesterday for an hour or so. This morning I am getting data mismatch error and a patch stuck at 91.6% 10.37/10.38 Gb.

I give up. if it was a small game fine. but its a big download. Waiting on a reply if I will get refunded or not.

Edit: Decided to give the patch another go. Cancelled it and started it again. Got stuck at 10.37 gigs again....

Got the answer to my ticket:

"Our service is currently receiving a larger than usual amount of user inquiries.
Due to our storage provider's outage, we were experiencing technical issues that may have caused difficulties in downloading and updating your games both through the GOG GALAXY client and your library.
The issue should have been addressed by now so if possible, please be sure to try and download your game again and see if the problem will persist. If the game still refuses to download itself properly, then please be sure to let me know and I will be sure to escalate this matter further if need be."

Obviously, I tried again few minutes ago but it still doesn't work, stuck at 92%...guess I'll have to send another email
I bought the game on the 6th and I was able to load it up fine and play it a bit. No sound since the 8th, in the course of trying to fix that now I'm having this problem too. Something in their delivery system may be broken but you'd think they would notice that right away.

Brakus71: same here. just bought the game @GOG yesterday, let it download overnight....stuck at 92%! restarted the launcher....saw some progress in downloading, still 92% though.......restarted the launcher again, now it goes to 97% bevore it freezes. restarted two more times, got finally 100%.

now when launching the game im gettint a "data mismatch error"* with the hint i should delete any mods or old data (from early access), yeah, well, nothing there since it s a fresh install!

Support-ticket opened with the only response it could be days because of high demand....lol :/

how does refund work? never done before....

Gh0st0rchid: The mismatch is the file '29b82aca0753605b7b19ad22b02f7b92' delete that and you'll be fine. it's the hash file from the download as far as I can tell.
I have the same warning with that file with many numbers but I can't detect which one it is among all the files, does anyone know which one it is please?
the "long number" is the file you re looking for!

(tried the verify and repair option of the original downloaded/installed file from GOG with no result, it "works" forever)

anyone with a working BG3....are your install-files (if still there) are ~106GB?

ive just downloaded the game via the extras-folder of BG3 in GOG (for testing purposes) and got 28 files: the installer (2.389 KB) and 27 setup-files, each 4.194.304 KB, except the last one of course with 2.473.580 KB!

BUT the first file ("setup_baldurs_gate_3_release_-_v4.1.1.3630146_-_patch_patch0_hotfix2_(64bit)_(66633)-1") of those only has 4.191.926 KB!!?? Shouldnt they all have the same size (except the last one)? Maybe thats the problem? a corrupted file they provide to download?!

I did so, when the installation stopped at 92%, I turned off gog galaxy and restarted the router and the computer after restarting it showed that the game is ready and I just started and play
Nope, the first file just seems to be the installer program.
But just for fun if you install it into your galaxy folder or the galaxy detects it the game will try to update to the actual live patch. (Current offline installer digital deluxe edition patch is 1 behind by 14~ hours.)

To get the current latest offline patch you have to download base game offline from extras then the Patch0_Hotfix2 to Live patch and the digital deluxe edition upgrade.
Installing from the offline loader worked for me, and it also fixed the no sound bug. Unfortunately that may be the only consistent way at this point.
There s a patch which seem to repair/fix all the actual issues? i can start and play the game and have sounds/music/speech.....just did the intro and some walking around though.
Support got back to me again this morning and directed me to a new article they've posted. I would share it but apparently I'm not able to post links - the article number in the URL is 12917971348125.

After support dot gog dot com, the rest of the URL is hc/en-us/articles/12917971348125

That article has 4 different things to try that can potentially fix the issue. I can't speak to the other 3 solutions but I was able to get it working using the offline installer (Method 4) and then importing my game back into GOG.

This also worked for me. As soon I restarted GOG Galaxy after the router restarted, GOG client finished the installation process and the game started.
