a new fix has been released, ingra is not updated, there is no way to play with friends, and writes a different version of games

I am also having this issue! It would be nice if the releases were staggered so that they released on both platforms at the same time to reduce this kind of issue. Or even if the GOG version were updated first, given that they provide the ablility to go back a version.

As for a solution. The first time this happened it was possible to copy a .pak file over from the steam version to get it working again, but this time the pak files seem to be identical. Maybe there was a different change?

An hour ago, Larian posted on Twitter (or "X", whatever :P) that the patch should arrive on GOG in a hour, so it should be a matter of minutes. Don't do anything "creative" with your data folder and don't panic :D

I didn't even think to check there! Though it does seem to have been delayed a little bit. I'm sure it won't be long now though!

I am still on the launch version. None of the hotfixes have been downloaded.

Also have a message that "Oops! Something isn't right. It looks like we were unable to connect to the service this time".

Guess for the timebeing might be best to download the hotfixes via https://www.gog.com/en/account then (Hotfix 2.1 for now only available via Galaxy though, only Hotfix 2 in the account view so far). Galaxy in general acting up or only for patching BG3? Did you try a verify/repair on your BG3 Install via Galaxy? Or else possibly try reinstalling Galaxy?
