Good day,

I am having an issue with my game starting on the incorrect monitor.

I am using a Mac Studio ultra with a studio display and two LG monitors, for a total of three monitors.
My studio display is set as the main monitor, but the game always starts on the LG monitor to the right.
I have attempted to change the resolution and monitor settings in the game and properly shut it down multiple times, but these changes do not seem to be saved.

All of my keybinds and other settings are retained, but the monitor setting is not.

Is there a config somewhere I can check to see if these settings are saving?

I would appreciate any suggestions on how to resolve this issue.

welcome to gaming on Mac... the fix is to remove the extra screens as they don't have any vram and your cab is designed for web browsing not gaming

@ussnorway

Taking a moment to consider the value and relevance of one's words before speaking can be a valuable practice, especially if the goal is to be kind and supportive. My computer or server was not primarily designed for web browsing or gaming, but rather has other specific functions. I have significant experience and knowledge as an IT manager in the motion picture industry for well over 25 years, and have a good understanding of the capabilities and limitations of my equipment. This is different from individuals who primarily focus on gaming alone.

I just wanted to come here and comment, because:

1. I'm having this same issue on my Macbook, no matter what it never remembers what screen is my main screen, and

2. It's not 2005 anymore. M1 and M2 macs are, in some cases, more powerful than a PC, and are more than capable of gaming. If dev studios would actually develop for mac, the PC Elitists wouldn't even have this opinion. And yes, that's what's going on. Studios just don't develop for Mac as much, even tho it's way easier because you don't have to take into consideration all kinds of system configurations. Source: Baldur's Gate 3, No Man's Sky
the power of a Mac is getting better but thats not why devs don't touch it... the reasion is the same as for linux, its not a standard

having said that Microsoft is starting to lose ground now with the trip down Windows 11 & 12 braking old games in order to sell upgrades so yes times change

Microsoft has been breaking games pretty much continuously since the 80's.
