seems awfully rigged that dice o.O
Sorry but wtf are you talking about?

rolling a skill check dice is a generated roll and you can indead load those dice with the tick box option

ah what ?++ mine is 20 dice
[see image]
have you got a tick in "Karmic dice"?

that will give you better rolls i.e, allow you to cheat... without a tick you roll a normal D20

yeah the karmic dice is ticked still dont work
please post a screenshot [small jpg] of the dice system you are talking about because 4 rolls all under 10 should not happen unless something else is going on
It sounds like they rolled <10, reloaded from a save, tried again and rolled <10, repeat.

I don't think Karmic dice affect that, since they're reloading the game.
yes but a screenshot would show the debuffs and buffs i.e, +1 for having this and - 2 for that

Some games seed randomness and store that seed in the save so you can't save scum the skill check rolls. Not sure if BG3 does that or not I've never save scummed BG3 yet to find out. I just let the rolls play out.

You can absolutely roll low values over and over, believe me it happens in pen and paper as well. I rolled 3 1's in a row last week and then one of my party members rolled two 1s right after me.. bad luck.

Outside of the feature where you can have it help you they don't cheat.. it's random.. rolls are rolls and you can def get a string of bad ones

What you're describing would explain the conditions they're experiencing, but I'm pretty sure I've managed to save scum my way through a specific check on occasion. After 5 or 6 playthroughs there were some things I just really wanted to see.

My point was that karmic dice keep track of previous rolls, and balance subsequent rolls. If you're reloading, there are no previous rolls to balance against.
