After installing the game with the off-line installer files, there is a data mismatch error when starting the game up. This was also present in the off-line EA version.

So far the game seems to play normal, but it's a disturbing message.

I tried to log in with the Larian and GOG account at the same time as requested, but that makes no difference.

So I logged out again and closed the loader. I have no need for a start screen/client that wants me to log in on two sites. That was the whole purpose of that off-line installer.

I think it will be fine, but it's still annoying to get that error. I want to be sure it's all OK.

Has anyone the same problem? And if so - How is that solved?

It's a non issue. Looking at the altered files log it states
Version: 4.1.1.3622274
Platform: galaxy

-------------------------
Altered/Added files 2
EULA.txt
webcache.zip

Neither of these are used by the game.

Weird - It seems to me that this could be very easy to correct, but thanks. That's a relief.

I think it's best to avoid that bootscreen altogether then. A shame that the easy "do not show again" knob is removed, but using a direct link to the bg3_dx11.exe works perfect.
You are getting that from the Larian launcher, right? It is bugged and I recommend avoiding it.
Larian made a small change to the launcher in order to add a bg3 or other tick box when selecting muliplayer

Yeah - I noticed that. But they also removed the tick-box that prevents the launcher screen to come up again when using the launcher link that is put on your desk top by default. You manually have to change the desktop link, or remove and make a new one (whatever you think is most easy) to launch the executable only. Weird...

Anyway - By bypassing the launcher the problem is solved. It still strikes me as a weird omission to let your start front panel in this buggy state, but that's just a small price to pay for such a great game...
