In the GOG Galaxy page for BG3 I have a yellow flag saying cloud sync is delayed because of server activity (3 days now) and when I look at the game config (screenshot) it does not allow the cloud save function to be checked. Why would cloud saves be disabled?

there are no cloud saves because Galaxy does not control that... its handled by larian and set from the in game ui

Yes, I have that turned on and they do appear to be synching. I am more wondering why I am seeing this for the last few days:

you are seeing that error because Gog don't know fuck about networking and some part of your game folder files has been changed

did you switch language, add a new profile, sync to a new system or more your game folder to a new location perhaps?

also how many save game files have you got for bg3 i.e, goto your profile \Documents\Larian Studios and see if the BG3 folder is under 1 G in size

Added a new profile, but that was about 2 weeks ago and this only popped up a few days ago. My two profiles together are about 450MB.
yes that will do it... have you got more than 1 system?

if yes [see image] copy the entire game folder from the main system i.e, which ever one you used to add the extra profile & paste that into the other systems... that should fix the error

adding a new profile buggers up the game save order because the profile doesn't track what save game belongs to witch profile i.e, all saves will be lumped together and two saves with the same name i.e, start or auto1 will bugger the network sync

I don't have two systems, but I will delete the profile I'm not using. I'm also currently in the middle of a full deinstall/reinstall. We'll see what it looks like in a few hours.


Edit: The full reinstall seems to have fixed it. I didn't have to monkey around with my profiles.
