Hey, all.

Game has been inconsistent in opening for me. Had one good training flight, then quit. Tried starting it again and I get the opening screen with the bombers in formation, then black. Music plays, I keep clicking or pressing enter as if skipping through the opening credits, then nothing. I didn't even get to see the pinup (not that it's my thing, but it's the iconic opening title screen).

Any ideas?

(Also, is it still "Unknown Game" in Galaxy for you guys?)

Same here, I bought the game and I still haven't played it because it won't work.

The game works perfect for me. A Bit slow but I modified the core to speed things a bit.

But, indeed, same here, the game is not properly detected under Galaxy. It is shown as Unknown Game. The problem is that it does not let you to install the game with the Launcher.
Installing the game via offline installer lets the game be detected by Galaxy but it is still shown as Unknown, but it lets you to run it. Something is wrong with the database or so.

I have the same issue, game starts with music and the opening microprose screen then black. Music continues to play but no display

You need to change the dosbox config file from "overlay" to something else. "Surface" worked for me.

Where in dosbox.conf does it show "overlay"? Or is there another configuration file?

So what you need to do is go into the config file and change openglnb to texture and it will no longer blackscreen cause apparently openglnb is incompatible or something for context it is the texture command that is causing the issue.

Finally got back to trying this, and it works great!! Now that I've watch Masters of the Air, I want to play this again soooo bad! Thanks for your help.
