Heya folks,

I remember stopping my game abruptly when I hit a money cap. Currently deciding another go at it (the 2000 series, not the 2011 reboot).

Does anyone know/remember the cap? I seem to recall 10.000, but I'm not sure. And are there different caps in the sequels?

in the built in save game editor the cap you can give yourself is 9,000 for Avrnum 1 from the avernum 1-6 collection
for avernum 2 its 15,000
avernum 3 is 15,000

note these are all what you can give yourself with the save editor
my recollection of these games and the original exile games they are remakes of
is that the cap was 30,000

also i havent playes past the 3rd game yet so i cannot say anything about them except that it seems reasonable that the cap remains consistant throughout

no worries and keep in mind i could be wrong about the 30,000 it could just be the max the editors allow you to set gold to
