Hi everyone! :)

I just started a new Let's Play of this game, and I have to say that so far I am VERY impressed by it! It's a great "old-school" style RPG. Swing on by my YouTube channel and follow along if you like. We're going to have a lot of fun with this one! :)

This game is already getting very interesting, so check it out, as I narrate the entire game with my sultry, soothing voice! :D Haha!

Seriously, the game is quite good, and there's a lot of narration, so hopefully it presents an interesting watch for you, the viewers! I hope I do a decent enough job of bringing the game to life. :)

Enjoy, and please feel free to Like/Comment/Subscribe/Share! Doing just one of those things helps my channel immensely, so I'd really appreciate it!

Bye for now!
Originally, I had no interest in Nethergate because I prefer fantasy over historical in my rpg gaming. But dammit if I'm not falling in love with Spiderweb's games! I started with Geneforge, then Avernum, now I'm on Avadon...I need to go vote on the wishlist here at GOG for Nethergate! There's no way I'm not gonna play it!

I've only played Nethergate as the Celts (you can also play as the Romans) but I liked it a lot. It's still a fantasy game, just historically inspired. There's lots of faeries and magic going on.

I'm not sure if it's going to come to GOG but you can always purchase directly from Spiderweb. I guess their version technically has DRM though, in the form of an activation key.
I wasn't all that interested in the setting of Nethergate at first, either, but it's a FINE Spiderweb Software game! Really a lot of fun, and I definitely recommend checking it out.
If you like the old school style RPG set in Roman times you might enjoy Teudogar and the Alliance with Rome too. That has paths where you can choose native or Roman sympathies.

It's a shame the Nethergate world didn't get more love, but the game still stands up well today.

GOG rejected Nethergate. I got it on Steam and have been playing it, great game. If GOG doesn't want my money, then I guess full Steam ahead.
