This problem only started happening around 37-38 hours of gameplay and has never happened with any other program. RIght now there are very specific circumstances I've found in Peregon where certain dialouge options will cause to my laptop to actually shut off. No in-game slowdown preceeding it, no signs of the game crashing and just needing to reboot, no overheating (my laptop runs more memory/graphics intensive games just fine). Just immidiate shutdown.

The two situations it has happened (both tested twice just to see if this was a fluke) was in Peregon and talking to the guy on the ship with caravan logistics, passing the intelligence check triggered it. The second was speaking with the head of the guards, passing the dexterity check to start battle caused another shutdown.

Specs =
Intel Core i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz, 2.40 GHz
RAM 16 GB
Windows10, 64-bit Operating System
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770M

For what it's worth, I used to have that problem playing Crusader Kings 2; but it might have been my defective hard drive. It only happened with that game, and it stopped happening afterwards. I hope you find a solution quickly. That was among the worst game-related problems I ever had.

Thanks. That was my first thought, too, just a prelude to my computer finally crapping out. But the repeated circumstances changed that, if there was a silver lining to this.
Can you please send us your save file and mention where specifically this happens to support@atomrpg.com ? It might be fixable!

Are you still there? After checking most dialogues in Peregon we didn't find anything wrong so it might be a pretty unique driver issue. Please send your player.log to the email mentioned above.

Sorry guys. I ended up just uninstalling the game since I can't risk creating larger problems. I checked after seeing your reply if any of the logs were in the leftover gog files but they're gone as well. Good game, though.
