Standalone installer updated: 1.173 ⇒ 1.175.

Patch 1.1.75

Changelog:
• Fixed issue with dialogues which are triggered when the character dies;
• Fixed console controls;
• Fixed a bug with thrown weapons which happened when attacking bloodless foes;
• Fixed a lot of typos.



Patch 1.1.74

• Fixed the dialogue between Katya and Kovalev during Grishka execution;
• Fixed a mistake with delivering the story quest of the Dead City back in Krasnoznamenny;
• Fixed August reaction if pass time in the “Maiden Spring” farm;
• Fixed how some of armor looked on the mannequins in your personal bunker;
• Now you can’t get the reward for destroying the circus twice;
• Fixed a lot of bugs when playing with a controller (controls and UI);
• NumPad is now used correctly when choosing answers in dialogues;
• The dialogue with bandits in Otradnoye (during the election quest) has been returned.

I cannot use Galaxy on Linux. I wouldn't use it anyway; I prefer downloading the installers manually.

So, this is the Christmas edition! Great! :D

How long will the event (the Massacre at the Mountain Pass of Woes) be available? My character is not ready to go there for now.

Edit: I found a way to have her go there in time. Quite cool! Well done Atom Team! :D

Greetings, friends!

As many of you already know, we love bringing temporary optional events into our game on special occasions, both to spice up the game you already know through and through as well as to have an excuse to give you some brand new “toys” to play with :)

This time the special event we wish to commemorate with a free update is the end of this pretty arduous Winter.

The new content that will be made available for it is going to be a rather large map in the Dead City, where you will get to do a lot of exploring, fighting and surviving for a chance to acquire several new weapons, meet new friends and enemies, as well as uncover a pre-war military installation.

To get to the event map you will have to travel to Dead City and find a new marker between the store and the playground.

As always, if temporary events aren’t your thing, this one can be turned off in the menu. It will disappear from the game in 30 days on its own as well.

This update also brings some minor fixes to the game, as well as new optimization for low-end PCs.

We would also like to use this occasion to remind our German-speaking players that the community translation for the game, led by a group of our fans is almost finished. You can check on their amazing progress and wish them the best of luck in the forum!

Have a great Spring, friends. And as always, let there be ATOM!

Greetings, friends!

While work on ATOM RPG: Trudograd is our main priority at the moment, we did notice a few rare bugs and glitches in our original game thanks to you guys contacting us with reports, and therefore we're publishing this little fix, which is sure to smooth things out, increase FPS and make ATOM RPG much more pleasant for all those who had performance issues in the past. This update also fixes a bunch of very rare, hard to hit bugs you helped us find. The full changelog is presented below.

• Now your companions don't leave the fight if they have an order;
• Fixes to localization;
• Now there is a hint for controllers in the option menu;
• Fixed a lot of bugs when playing with the controller;
• The game loads faster;
• Fixed a big bug with getting achievements;
• Fixed the pop-up text shimmering when moving the camera;
• A lot of locations are optimized for better fps;
• Fixed the grass textures that caused a graphic glitch when moving the camera (thank you to our community for finding it);
• A new material is added for the moat in Otradnoye;
• Fixed the health bar position for the smaller creatures.

I got the linux download now. However, upon starting, I have to press 'ESC' twice before I get to see the menu screen (and hear the music, etc.). I do get to see the mouse cursor change immediately, so I know ATOM is actually started.

UPDATE: the 'fix' version did not actually fix things for me :-P

Maybe you need to delete all the data files so that the fix works? In Linux they are in "/home/username/.config/unity3d/AtomTeam/Atom/"; no need to delete your saves though.

Hello! Could you confirm that the patch was downloaded with tag 1.179 video fix? Probably you still getting the patch without video fix.

You are correct. With "1.179 VIDEO fix" everything works fine, on my pc :-). (I tested up to loading a savegame.)
