The game runs fine if I do skip the cutscenes pressing ESC, but it breaks immersion and skips useful information.

At the moment, I do use Manjaro KDE, but tested the game on Pop!_OS and got the same error.

EDIT: I've managed to get the cutscenes working by copying the .webm archives from an older version, but they don't play any sound. Game sound does work, just the cutscene audio that is missing.

I got it to work properly after I copied all *.webm files from the Windows-Version's [INSTALL DIRECTORY]/AtomRPG_x64_Data/StreamingAssets/Movie/ to [INSTALL DIRECTORY]game/AtomRPG_Data/StreamingAssets/Movie/ of my Linux Installation.

I thought about doing that with the GoG Windows installation but it means reinstalling the game on Winndows and I have a limited internet connection...

Same thing for me. I copied the webm videos from my GoG Windows installation; the videos do start now but they have no sound.

Looks like I wasted 5 Gb of data on this...

You don't need Windows to install the Windows Version. Just use Wine for the install, copy the files and delete the windows/wine installation.

Oh no thanks, not WINE in my computer: too big.
