Hello, that's a great news. Could you please provide this version for Linux as well?
Hi,

I just downloaded the 0.7.2 update but now, if I launch the game from Galaxy, or launch it standalone, I just get a black screen with the Atom cursor.

Anyone had a problem like this?

d_martynenko: Hey guys!

This version of "In Development" features a lot of additions inspired by your amazing feedback. We added new characters, new weapons, items, animations, locations, quests and random encounter maps.

The combat system was reworked thanks to your suggestions, though some changes are not final. We have reworked large parts of the skill system, too!
Looks like I was right to wait before buying the game! :D
avatar
d_martynenko: We also added effective finishing moves with brutal animations.
Oh, this is bad... Will we be able to turn them off? Please?
avatar
d_martynenko: The traders in the game now have their unique preferences. Two faction based weapon traders were also added.
This is a great idea; traders in ATOM RPG are quite dull I must say. :)

Will be purchasing soon, you guys nailed the atmosphere in the first game! One small quibble, I wish the intelligence attribute was used more often in dialogue and general interactions in the world.

Thank you! The intelligence is actually used quite extensively in Trudograd, but not always noticeably since you need to have a certain amounts for new conversation topics to pop-up, same as Attention and some other skills and attributes.
Hope that the variety will not disappoint you, because your statistics have an even bigger role in dialogues and outside than before :)

Great, looking forward to it. Roughly how long will this game be, percentage wise compared to the first game?

Hello!

You didn't answer my question: will we be able to disable these "finishing moves with brutal animations"?

It's a matter of buying or not buying the game for me. No offence intended. :)

Im assuming you played the first game right? Wasnt it great? Yes it was. The finishing moves are probably more melee/power armor oriented anyway. The first game had heads and limbs being completely blown off, did that turn you off? You could also try avoiding as much combat as possible. This really shouldnt stop you from buying the game, again, assuming you enjoyed the first one.

Finishing moves have nothing to do with what we see in the first game. Finishing moves take over the player's control like cut scenes do; in fact they are cut scenes.

I'm not afraid of gore, I didn't turn them off since they are minimum in ATOM RPG. Gore in finishing moves would look pretty much different, seen from a closer point of view. I don't want that in my games; I turned them off in Skyrim.

And please, don't tell people what they should or shouldn't do, I want an answer from Atom Team.

Yes, lets hope the developers stop everything, stop working on this wonderful game, to answer your question about mild violence.. Yes lets do that..

Well, I've eventually bought Trudograd and I think I've seen these finishers and... they are not what I imagined! That's great! :D

The game has problems at resolutions that are not the default screen resolution; it looks blurry. This is what the dream sequence looks like at 1280x720: https://pix.toile-libre.org/upload/original/1613079633.png

I also have overheating and I had to turn off some effects but I can live without them. ;)

Keep up the good job! :D

Where do we report bugs?

Each time my character looks at the picture of her dog, a weird mention pops up in the console. Image: https://pix.toile-libre.org/upload/original/1613205338.png

I hope we will be able to get a new dog in Trudograd... :)
