You can also use plastic bottles to milk the cows. I don't remember seeing plastic bottles of milk sold by traders in the game, did you come across some?

Also, I hadn't noticed yet but the hands of the clock in the general map view do not move as they should, the short one moves faster than the long one...

There are 2 type of milk bottle, but traders have only one for sell. It's like that in vendor list.

Both are equal (the clock) The one which points to hours is thicker that's why it's seems that is longer. The one for minutes is subtle and "V" shape. Anyway let's just say that it's a replica of an antic Russian clock.. :)

As for chicks, I count five that you don't need to pay for - although one of them doesn't necessarily have to be that kind of action, the fact that it happens in a haystack makes me think it counts (though I haven't checked the game stats lately).

I didn't play much with a girl character, so I can't help you here. But I suppose that in theory a girl will have more option.

I made a Mod (is on nexus) and being work in progress I have to test all sort of things. Plus I started to make correction to the text file where needs to be. There are a lot of text. Of course I will not make public this files because I changed the name of couple NPC's (Dogmeat for the dog...) and Attributes being Stats or SPECIAL, etc like in Fallout saga.
Like I said I will keep the file for me because I'm pretty sure that a lot of players will not agree with that.

Edit: About clock. Like I said are equal. Look at the picture I made. The "shorter" one is pointed and is hard to see the tip of it.

Of topic a little bit, but I need your opinion on this description being also a non English native speaker:

To give weapons and items to a comrade, open your inventory and click with LMB and hold on the item which you want to give. Drag it on the comrade name in the upper bar of the inventory window and release. (Drag and Drop system). If there is a stack (bullets for example) when you hover his name with the items and release, a spliter pop-up window will appear.

Does have any meaning to you? I mean is easy to understand what is referring to ?
Because the devs didn't update the inventory description after patch 1.08. So I decided that at least my game to have the right descriptions :)

Speaking of the chick from the castle, Alina, how did you get her to hook up? The best line I got was that she was happy to see me, but that was it? I did all the other quests in the castle, solved the feud, solved the addiction.

Yes it makes sense and is easily understandable to me. In fact, that's what I instinctively did; I never read the inventory descriptions the devs wrote. :)

Yep he's appalled all right - that reaction made it worth it! I hung on to it for the rest of the game in case another opportunity to use it presented itself, but no such luck unfortunately... ;(

Also, since you mention it - I haven't played this game as a chick yet. Does anyone know if doing a porno as a chick gives a different result? I'd still expect the guy to not show it, but maybe he'd buy it off you instead... ;)

The chick from the castle - yeah she was probably the toughest to get with. I think you need to pass at least one hard or two not-as-hard skill checks, but depending on what response you choose there are a number of different combinations (of options and skill checks) that get you there.

The way I did it, was to talk to her "boyfriend" first, establish he's a bit of pussy. Then talk to her, I think ask about her relationship, mention that she shouldn't just marry the first guy she sees and she should try a real man, then prove you're a real man...

High strength I think works, you basically pick her up and carry her into her tent, while her boyfriend just stands there, then runs off crying. Fidel calls you a douche, but he got with that Margarite chick so he should shut the hell up.

What makes this one trickier is that a number of the skill checks can be used to convince her to head home, but if you do that you don't get any action. So just focus on getting with her, she'll make her way back to the castle afterwards.

TBH I think the skill checks with her were still easier than the chick at the factory.

Basically in this game, I ended up often smoking a joint and drinking some vodka before talking to most chicks, that usually did the trick (except for the nurse).

You probably already know this but:

- the "recreation area" has a gym, which you can use once a day to pump some iron. Keep doing that for a few days and eventually you get a permanent +1 strength buff. Which of course I didn't even discover until I played the game the second time...

- the kitchen massively increases the effect of everything. This isn't as important as it used to be, since a few patches ago the devs finally decided to make coffee/tea/herbal tea last longer than 5 minutes (!) from a camp fire... (I think it's 2 hours now - which is reasonable). But... having a coffee, tea or herbal tea in the kitchen lasts 24-48 hours.

I can't actually recall if it's 24 or 48, but even at 24 that's HUGE - especially since you can stack 2x buffs, and coffee, tea and herbal tea are everywhere. Herbal tea sometimes poisons you, but most of the time you get +1 EN, tea gives +1 EN, and coffee gives +1 ST. So you can get +2 EN +2 ST for 24 hours with coffee and tea, and up to +4 EN +2 ST for 24 hours if you add herbal tea (and you don't keep poisoning yourself).

Even just walking, you can travel pretty far in a day - and in the car, it's practically the whole map. So usually my weak-ass PC spends a lot of the game way tougher than normal because of this.
Funnily enough I was ALWAYS wondering why I found that clock so damn hard to actually read the time on... normally have no problem with other analog clocks, but in this game I often just went to the log/journal page so I could see the time properly, since otherwise I'd read the time wrong!

Those clock hands are messed up. If that's based on a real Russian clock then I'm going to start attributing that clock to the demise of the Soviet Union...
