I was really, really excited when I found Atlantis here on Gog as it's my all time favourite games, especially since I have a Mac. The Lost Tales worked like a charm but I got real sad when I discovered they had completely re-made Beyond Atlantis. It still worked, until I got to the Mayan world and inside the right one of the two first pyramids and encountered the Jaguar puzzle (the one with the sticks and pebbles). I can move ONE stick to ONE specific place, after that I can't move anything and thus I can't get past the guard. I Googled my butt off but I haven't found a single person with the same problem. I've started a new game, I've restarted Atlantis, I've re-downloaded and re-installed it and the problem is still there. I haven't been anywhere else so I don't know if there are issues with more puzzles. I have an iMac (fall 2010) with OSX 10.9. Does anyone have any idea what I should do? I know it's available in Mac App Store too but I'd rather fix this than buy it again.

As far as I remember, the remade version damaged the whole puzzle (which now can't be even called puzzle) and you just have to click on the balls, then on the stick, put them on the board and you can get past the guards.

Play windows version of Atlantis 2. You can also try to play on Mac via the emulator (e.g. Wine, Wineskin), using a virtual machine (such as VMware or Parallels) or Bootcamp. Mac users must be careful, because there are more games on Gog, that are redesigned to work in Mac (Amerzone - The Explorer's Legacy).
