Hi, (sorry for bad english)
Anyway to get the good format for this game ? Black borders should be great, or even windowed mode.

Also, the animation when characters talking is too fast! (like my CD version)

Any solutions ?
I don't think there's an option in the game to get it to look good on widescreen monitors. Windows 7 itself doesn't give you any options for that either. See if there's an option in your monitor or video card control panel to get black borders (google gave me a guide to fixing your aspect ratio with an ATI video card , and one for Nvidia [url=http://www.sevenforums.com/gaming/46653-how-can-i-maintain-aspect-ratio-playing-fullscreen-2.html]here). I use a laptop hooked to a TV, so when I play old games that only run in 4:3 resolutions, I just set the TV to 4:3 with black borders.

As for the fast animations.. Did GOG already fix that themselves? I didn't have that problem when I installed and ran the game just now. In fact, it seems to run at a weirdly low framerate by default, and the animations look fine.

I remember the fast animations being a problem with the CD version. The game was designed to run on older hardware. With newer computers animations just move too fast, I don't know if it's because the animation speed is tied to framerate or if it's something else. If you get animations moving too fast with the GOG version of the game, try using CPU Killer to slow down your computer. I haven't tried this myself, but it's worked on other games.

We can compare it by files inside, if you can take a look at your version. For example, in gog version and in 3CD version 'Atlantis III - The New World\Datas\warp' folder contains 'warp512' subfolder, and is 115mb in size. I guess HD version should have this folder named 'warp1024', or the files inside should just be of a larger size.
And btw, do you have cover images of this HD version?

I used to have cover images on a site, but it got deleted. Don't think i kept them.
The dvd box has a sleeve around it, and both the box and sleeve would just look like an usual version.
Only a red sticker on the sleeve is telling that it is a limited edition with a hd version.

Indeed on 1 side there is a folder called warp1024 which is 397mb.
The Loc folder is the biggest with 1,45 gb of data.
There is also a folder called makingof and goodies (screensaver).

Won't mind getting it on here if there is interest. Just won't be able to afford shipping.

Yep, this the one I'm looking for. Warp folder contains actual backgrounds you see in the game, Loc is just localized movies, voices and text. I guess it's bigger because you have several translations inside.
