So it seems like you guys here on GOG are worried about updates here. The game will receive updates along with the steam version, so don't worry. I won't leave you guys hanging :)

I just wanted to take a second to thank everyone who is playing. I cannot thank you all enough for the support. It really means more to me than you could ever know. If you have any problems, just let me know and I will get it sorted.
And this kind of posts from a developer (without orange colour, but it's ok lol) mean also a lot around here, so thanks also to you!

Don't worry, we will bother you with our problems and wishes for the game ;)

heh, that's what i am here for :)
Do you have any plans to release the first Astrox game on GOG?
Howdy,

Achievements doesn't work for the GOG version, it seems. :(

Also, it would be great if more achievements could be added. For more achievement ideas, you could ask the community if you need help with, i'm sure we would gladly help with that.

As for the game itself, it's freaking awesome so far! Quite an addictive game you have created there. :D

All the best!

I didn't buy the game yet so I don't know how achievements work in this game, but i hope there aren't any popups for every time you reach a goal (or at least there's an option to hide any popups). Having popups showing all the time breaks the immersion for me, especially since i don't need the achievements feature to enjoy a game anyway.

No it's not like a common ingame achievement mechanic with the list of all the achievements. It's in a form of medals. it's a popup msg, similar to how you get a msg about leveling up. it also gives you skill points when completed, similar to leveling up. and as far as i cat tell, in game achievements will reset every new game. and will have to be unlocked again.

I don;t know about you, it doesn't bother me. don't know if it can be turned off.

check out youtube videos to have a better idea, i guess.

yes, when the game was approved for launch, the SDK wasn't fully implemented. I couldn't sleep that night, so i stayed up and added achievements. GOG may need to turn them on or something. I will email them to find out why they are not processing.

Hmmm, thanks for the description. I'm not sure how i feel about the fact that they serve some purpose; i guess i'll have to get a first-hand experience of the game to judge them.

eaning a medal is just that, a reward. You do earn some extra credits and a few skill points. medals are not required to do anything, just a bonus.

Been playing the gamea bit today and have to say it is a really good game even in early access it is more feature complete than some AAA games. Looking forward to seeing what else is put in the game and i also hope it sells well.
