Lots of starting issues addressed, a number of major bug fixes, and a bunch of little ones. Anything worth mentioning is listed right on the title screen. Anyway, enjoy. Let me know if you run into any issues.

Started the game today, I was wondering if it's normal in this build to have to rescan everything when re-entering a sector, even in tactical mode?

yes currently, the scanners only hold local data. i am working on something that will save the scan data forever in your tactical view.

Sounds great, but it's such a minor nit in the grand scheme of things. I found out after getting a explorer ship that scaning can get much faster anyway!

Just got done with a ~11 hour session and the only weird thing that happened was - in the pilot details, my female character turned into a male when I went to change the picture and it can't be switched back.

No other crashes, bugs, or glitches otherwise. Very smooth, especially so early on. Thanks,
